RSJ Radio Podcast is a weekly audio series produced by undergraduate students from the Ryerson School of Journalism as part of their Radio Reporting Workshop course work.
Lucas DiPasquale is a young musician from Markham, ON. He moved to Toronto in 2014 and began pursuing a career in music. After being discovered by covering dancehall songs on his YouTube channel, he started writing his own music.
At 21, Lucas is signed to a major record label and has travelled the world performing music overseas. He has collaborated with other artists such as Popcaan, Kardinal Official, Stylo G, and Konshens.
Lucas sat down in an interview and describes what it was like to leave his hometown, create his own style of music, and accomplish his dreams.
