Our first episode is a love story. Host Grace Brison introduces us to executive producer Emily Morantz, who tells the story of Jana and her partner Lou. After meeting Jana’s family, Lou was surprised to find a feeling of home in their Jewish culture—so now, they’ve decided to convert. The process has helped make Jana and Lou’s relationship stronger, but it’s also given them and their families an opportunity to explore one of life’s most complicated questions: what is identity, anyway?
