Episode 11 – November 29, 2016
RSJ Radio Podcast is a weekly audio series produced by undergraduate students from the Ryerson School of Journalism as part of their Radio Reporting Workshop course work.
Living in Toronto, students often have the luxury of experiencing an array of different cultures and ethnicity. This allows for the opportunity to learn so much about the world’s different nations and for Torontonians to meet a lot of different people.
From knowing this, we would assume that the same diversity would translate effortlessly onto university campuses within the city, but that is not always the case. Real Talks Podcast duo, Rachel Arhin and Matt Amha investigate the issue on this week’s episode.
They spoke with roommates, Sunday Aken and Christiane Beya in order to explore this issue through the eyes of two young African-Canadian women.
