Despite existing for centuries, yoga has only been in the spotlight for the past few decades.
The now popular, go-to fitness regime offers people a chance to dabble in a pursuit that is both mentally and physically beneficial.
Among offering physical flexibility to practitioners, yoga also offers a chance to realize and reflect on internal thoughts. This process of reflection offers practitioners a chance to heal, whether it is physical, mental, or emotional.
Here are the stories of four yoga instructors about their journey practising yoga, and how it’s transformed their lives.
