In the debut of Noncompulsory podcast School of Journalism reporter Dylan Kulcher discusses LGBTQ2S+ resources available on TMU campus with Samantha Defranco the Coordinator at the TMSU Centre For Safer Sex and Violence Support. During a panel discussion “A Chat on “Embracing Queer Sex”” sex-ed educators Eva Bloom and Sonny Cantalini shared their expertise with navigating post-secondary education while developing their identity. After the discussion they spoke candidly about navigating labels and their passion for working in a profession that mirrors their life story.

Sam pointed towards the immediate future of resources such as a new Student Centre being developed. She praised the opportunities in working for the TMSU on programs not possible at other universities. A roadmap for a brighter tomorrow of Pride at TMU is discussed as well as sound advice for LGBTQ2S+ students commuting to campus.
