For years, women’s athletics have taken a backseat to men’s. There is no justifiable reason for men’s athletics, professional or amateur, to receive more funding and exposure than women’s who work just as hard to be the best at what they do.
This year has been a very eventful one for the Ryerson Rams athletics program, the women’s teams had impressive seasons with the volleyball team capping off their undefeated season bringing Ryerson its first ever national championship.
