The Daily Bread Food Bank in Toronto provides nutritious meals for people all across Toronto. The meals are distributed to drop-in programs, hostels, shelters and community centres all across Toronto. They also have an cafeteria in the distribution centre warehouse that helps feed workers and volunteers. Matthew Neil is the food services manager and helps organize the volunteers and workers throughout the kitchen. He has a past of working with nonprofits, not only in Canada but around the world, and he finds that working at Daily Bread is the perfect mix between his restaurant skills and social justice. Teresa Headley is a volunteer whose philosophy in life is to help others. They explain why they spend their free time at the Daily Bread Food Bank kitchen cooking and helping others.
