Steve’s Music Store on Queen Street W., has been a cultural icon in the Toronto music scene for decades helping to shape the artistic landscape and community surrounding it. Recently, they have shut their doors after over 60 years in business but musicians in Toronto haven’t forgot how important it was and still is. I talked to two musicians, Cory Thomen, a guitar player and frontman in a rock band called Fools Paradise. As well as Gabe Rossitter, an independent DJ and singer-songwriter who has played numerous shows all over Toronto. Steve’s impacted both of these incredible artists and has made an everlasting impact on their careers.
