What’s Art: Ruckus Women Collective

Ruckus Women is an art collective run by student Maia Taruc Pilling and visual artist Lamya Abraham. In this episode, Maia discussed her background in singing, her experience with activism, and how these have inspired her to amplify the voices of marginalized artists in the Toronto area. Together, she and Lamya talk about the live art event they hosted, Ruckus I: The Rise of Ruckus which occurred on September, 10th 2022. The collective is hosting its second event this January. They are having a show at 8 pm on November 30th at the Free Times Cafe.
