Episode 1: “Something Good” (Intro episode) (12:08)
The premiere episode kicks off with the title from the 1992 Utah Saints “banger of a classic,” Something Good. As with every episode, memories of ‘early 90’s rave past’ chapter the story, to encapsulate the unique moment in time that described what these early years of raving were all about. In this episode we hear from Steve Jiu former 90’s DJ, and DJ Takin owner of Toronto’s The Wiggle Room: both recounting personal stories of what it felt like to be in the thick of the scene.
From immersing in the sound and energy of the nostalgia, to calling that number on the flyer to get the address… These stories combined with music and throwback feels, bring us to the essence of the show. Where you landed in life after having your coming of age be in the midst of the early 90’s rave culture, has shown to be a large transformative feature.
