This podcast is a pilot episode teasing a series about people coming to or returning to religion, and those who have been questioning their beliefs. It’s inspired by recent trends showing increasing religious participation among Gen Z and, in part, by Hannah’s own faith journey, where she left her religion, only to come back as dedicated as ever.
This series is co-hosted by Hannah McNeilly and Chris Harrison, two radio and podcast producers from the Toronto Metropolitan University journalism program. The episode features clips from interviews with Tim Teakle, of Gen Alpha and Matthew Namee, of the Orthodox Research Institute, as well as others who have recently joined or left their faith.
